Welcome to Chloe’s web portal. This site will serve as an aggregator of all the media and information about Chloe that will inevitably be posted around the web. If you have a site or a resource you would like to see included here, please send us an email and we will put it here on the site. Obviously, in the early days, there will be very little content as there isn’t much to report. However, keep reading on to find out how to subscribe to updates.
Of course, this is the only place you can get updates on Chloe’s progress…both before and after her birth. Both Liz and I will make every attempt to keep this blog updated as information becomes available. For your part, you can stay up to date by subscribing to the site feed, subscribing to SMS (Text Message) updates, or signing up for email updates. You can even submit your own stories (subject to approval) for publication here.
We look forward to sharing all the developments with you, and hope you enjoy them as well. One last thing, make sure you sign Chloe’s guest book before you leave
For those of you who still visit this site, or get email updates, you probably know that there has been a lack of content here for about two months — but not because of lack of trying. The current web host, Godaddy, sucks and has essentially blocked me from deleting anything from the site, which because of a glitch in one of the cameras at the house uploading everything it sees, i’ve run over quota which prevents me from posting.
Having said that, there is LOTS of content we want to share with you. But I will not put it here. Not on godaddy. Within the next few days, I will be changing web hosts to something that actually works without errors like I get with godaddy. So, in the mean time, please note that we have not forgotten about our readers and look forward to posting fresh new content as soon as we can.
On a related note, if there are any features you would like to see on the site, please comment below.
Yup, that’s right! Soon there will be a live stream into Chloe’s room (except for certain times when it may be deemed…shall we say, odd.)
As soon as it’s live, I will have the link, if not an embed, on a page here on the site. One thing to note, however, is that you must use Internet Explorer to view the feed. Most of you know that I don’t recommend IE, but in this case, it is safe to use. If you are already using IE, I would suggest upgrading to IE9 as it supports web standards better than previous versions.
Anyway, I’ll keep you posted on when the cam is live and where it will be.
I would like to take a few moments to say ‘thank you’ to everyone at Conway Regional Hospital for making the delivery process as easy as possible (from a dad perspective). Secondly, I would like to say thank you to Hunter….he has been such a great big brother — very helpful, willing to do stuff that most 8 year olds would hate (Chico thanks you too), and always being there when Chloe needs him.
Lastly, I would like to say thank you to our readers. With over 300 individual hits in the last 3 days alone, Chloe has quite a following.
There are tonnes more pictures to be posted in the coming days, and I hope you will all enjoy them. We do have some video that we will post as well, once I get 10 minutes to do some edits.
Today we are welcoming Chloe home! If all goes as planned, Chloe will be coming home around noon today. For those who still have not had a chance to meet Ms. Chloe, please feel free to stop by and say hello.
As of this morning, both Liz and Chloe are doing well, and are excited to be leaving the hospital. Hunter has been surprisingly helpful during the whole ordeal and is proving to be a great big brother…lets just see how long it lasts.
On a slightly different note, yes, there is a serious lack of video and pictures here. The one thing I failed to take into account was an early delivery…which, as you know, is what happened. So, as I receive more media, of course it will be here.

Arrived at conway regional hospital at midnite
Pix, info, video, and more to come. Keep checking here for all the updates.
Hey all, this is the last post before Chloe is welcomed into the world! I asked this a while ago, but I’m asking again, please, if you are planning on a hospital visit, to please comment here on the site so that we can have a rough idea on how many folks to expect.
On another note, I will be attempting some live video from the hospital. You will be able to see it at http://qik.com/dmduke starting around 10am tomorrow (thurs 2.24). Videos will be archived and placed in the video section sometime friday.
